o segmento "A Little Priest"!

O momento em que o desejo de vingança expresso por Sweeney Todd é complementado e "elevado" a um serviço maior pelo sentido prático, maquiavelismo e devoção de Mrs, Lovett! Uma crítica social e moral, de costumes, que encerra tanto de mordaz como de delirante, na indefinição inevitável e consciente dos papéis de juíz, de agressor, de carrasco!

É certamente uma das minhas personagens preferidas. A sua dualidade sempre me fascinou e comoveu. Sofria com o seu tormento e o seu desespero, desprezava a sua maldade e a sua natureza traiçoeira. Tolkien criou, sem dúvida, uma grande personagem, o espelho da dependência e miséria, de alguém consumido pelo mero desejo do Poder. Peter Jackson transpô-la, de modo perfeito, para a tela. Andy Serkis encarnou-a brilhantemente!

Momentos (XVI)

Comecei há poucos dias a ver "Deadwood". Apesar de ter visto apenas quatro episódios, posso dizer sem rodeios que estou a adorar. Uma caracterização fabulosa, personagens marcantes, magníficas interpretações, um sólido argumento e uma bela banda-sonora (começa desde logo pelo genérico) já colocaram Deadwood na minha lista de grandes séries!

Este segmento é simplesmente memorável...uma maravilhosa e trágica conjugação de desassossego, tensão e desespero, filmada de modo brilhante, na qual apenas os olhares, as expressões, acompanhados por uma sinistra melodia, conseguem perturbar o espectador...Bravo!
